Tianjin Datang Panshan Power Generation Company Limited is located in Ji County, Tianjin. The project commenced in November, 1998 and its two 600MW coal-fired units were put into commercial operation in January and July of 2002, respectively.

Tianjin Datang Panshan Power Generation Company Limited is currently the IPP with the largest single unit installed capacity in the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Power Grid as well as the base load power plant within the grid. Furthermore, according to grid plan, all power output is supplied via three 500kV transmission lines to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Power Grid.

Datang Power owns 75% interests of Panshan Power.
