Shanxi Datang Shentou Power Generation Company Limited is located in Shuozhou District, Shanxi Province with two coal-fired 500MW units. One unit was put into commercial operation in December of 2004. This unit was completed 16 months ahead of schedule. All power output will be supplied via 500kV transmission lines to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshang Power Grid.

Datang Power owns 60% interests of Shentou Power.
