Heibei Datang Tangshan Thermal Power Company Limited is located in Tanshan County, Heibei Province. The project comprises two 300MW units which were put into commercial operation in March and September of 2004 separately. Each unit is currently the largest single thermal power unit among comparable units. All power output is supplied to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Power Grid.

Datang Power owns 80% interests of Tangshan Thermal Power.
