Mr. Cao Jingshan, aged 46, graduated from Dalian University of Technology majoring in technical economics and management. He holds a doctorate and is a senior economist, and currently as Vice Chairman and President of the Company. Mr. Cao commenced his career in 1981 in Yuanbaoshan Power Plant and was successively Assistant to Plant Manager, Chairman of the Labour Union, Deputy Plant Manager and Plant Manager of Yuanbaoshan Power Plant. From January 2003, he became Deputy Head of the President's Office (Person-in-Charge), and has been the Head of the President's Office cum Head of the International Cooperation Department of China Datang Corporation since December 2003. Starting from 14 April 2008, Mr. Cao has been the president of the Company. He has been the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since 30 May 2008. Mr. Cao has long been engaged in electricity production, technical and operation management, with extensive knowledge and practical experience in electricity production and operation management.

Zhou Gang, aged 45, graduated from Hehai University with a post-graduate degree in hydropower generation. He is a senior engineer with a master's degree in engineering and an MBA from Fudan University. He is currently Deputy General Manager and Secretary to the Board of the Company. Upon obtaining his bachelor's degree, Mr. Zhou was assigned to East China Power Administration Bureau in August 1985, and had been a technician and then Deputy Secretary to the Chinese Communist Youth League Committee at Fuchunjiang Hydropower Plant. He enrolled to Hehai University's post-graduate programme in hydropower generation in September 1989. After graduating with a master's in July 1992, Mr. Zhou was assigned to China National Water Resources & Electric Power Materials & Equipment Corporation (Materials Bureau of the Ministry of Energy) where he held various positions including Engineer of the Information Department, Deputy Manager of the Information Department, as well as Deputy Director and Director of the General Manager's Office. In March 1996, he became Deputy General Engineer and Director of the General Manager's Office. In March 1997, Mr. Zhou was appointed Deputy General Manager of the corporation's Shenyang branch company as well as Deputy General Engineer and Director of the General Manager's Office. He became Deputy General Manager (Deputy Director of Materials Bureau of the State Power Corporation) in November 1997, and was appointed Deputy General Manager and the Shanghai branch company's General Manager in March 2000. From March 2003 onwards, he had been Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Division of the General Manager's Office of China Datang Corporation. He has been Vice President of the Company since June 2007. Mr. Zhou has extensive experience in international cooperation, power resources management and the operation and management of power generation enterprises.
